Malmaison’s chain of hotels across the UK are known for their unique brand identities. I was commissioned to create abstract pieces of art that would be featured across the nation.
I created each piece by beginning with vintage illustrations and drawings, then bringing these into the 21st century with strong splashes of colour, fun fonts and bespoke line-art. Malmaison’s unique visual identity provided strong inspiration for this project, allowing me to inject their fun personality into each piece.
Each final product was a unique, one-off piece that provides a visually engaging asset to the Malmaison brand.
